Ranting

So, guess what? My blog is in violation of Mitch Ansara’s anal retention of his ‘art’.

Who the fuck is this guy? Well, aparently Mitch invented the sentence ‘I can read movies’, so no one else on the planet may use it.

Ok, ok. Let’s be fair to the guy. Mitch’s cover art inspired me to start posting about movies and books, but, for him, art isn’t supposed to inspire people. You make art. People look at it. Then, I guess, you should burn it. Or else someone might use it as inspiration.

Hey Mitch, what happend when you used someone else’s movie as inspiration to create your fake book covers? Congratulations, you fuck. Instead of enjoying that someone else liked your work and decided to create something else from it, you gotta ruin my fun? And don’t you think it’s a little too pretentious to write “Click above to check out my TOTALLY AWESOME art blog in the meantime! :D” on the opening page of your site? The :D doesn’t help, man.

So now I must stop ranting and start thinking: What am I gonna do about it? I guess I’ll just change the URL/Name/Icon of this blog. But, to be honest, this makes me want to delete it.

labarceloneta:
Barry: I wanna date a musician. Rob Gordon: I wanna live with a musician. She’d write songs at home and ask me what I thought of them, and maybe even include one of our little private jokes in the liner notes. Barry: Maybe a little picture of me in the liner notes. Dick: Just in the background somewhere.
